I was commissioned by the Prostate Laser Centre in 2007 to produce a logo for the launch of their first clinic. The strong brand colours were based on the Green Light Laser treatment itself, and a dark palette was used to highlight this and give a sense of masculinity to the brand. The logo design itself highlights the high-tech, precision nature of the laser treatment.
The company was planning to open a series of centres around the country in quick succession, so a key part of the brief was to ensure that the logo was flexible enough to accommodate placenames of differing lengths while still retaining the core brand. Within 18 months the company had opened five centres nationwide and a series of promotional brochures, advertorials and a website had been created.
