The Chamberlain Awards is Birmingham City Council’s staff recognition scheme, rewarding excellent work from the council’s 60,000 employees. The awards organisers have been regular clients since the scheme started in 2005, and it has been extremely rewarding to develop their branding (which alters each year) and marketing strategy.
The art direction of the souvenir brochure is a key element of the project, with an emphasis on reportage photography to give a true sense of each nominee’s character and the conditions in which they work.
