Birmingham Prostate Clinic has been a long-standing client since 2006. In 2010 I was asked to refresh the design of the BPC website, not only to expand its flexibility but also to help boost the SEO possibilities of the site. The coding of the previous site seriously constrained its permeability to search engines, so a key part of the brief was to help remedy this as much as possible.

The new site was based on a three-column grid, with the right-hand column reserved for related links and further navigation. This allowed the use of keyword-rich hyperlinks on every page. Other new features included the use of embedded video and JQuery to provide further search-engine accessible content and a richer user experience.
